Starting a TR6 of Unknown Condition

If you want to do it right, which will save you in the long run,
and you believe that your 6 hasn't been tuned for some time, then I'd
suggest the following:
- plugs (if you decide to go with Lucas Sports Coil, gap at
.035")
- distributor wires
- Lucas Sports Coil
- condensor
- points (distributor)
- distributor cap
- set the rocker gaps
- set the timing
- THEN tune the carbs
I'm sure I'm missing something that the list can add, but this
will work wonders on a poorly tuned and neglected car.

I'll add couple more things:
- distributer rotor
- spark plug wires (optional)
- change the oil and oil filter
- air filters
As Scott suggests, do everything else before you do anything with
the carbs.
