Interior Trim Glues

*** Well, there are some really good glues out there, but nothing
sprayable, AFAIK:
- 3M Weatherstrip & Trim Adhesive, AKA "Yellow Peril".
Amazingly strong stuff. A little hard to apply: you're instructed
to "apply a thin coat to each surface". Comes in a toothpaste
tube.
- "Goop"; Another toothpaste tube. Possibly the strongest
rubberlike cement I've ever seen. I once glued together a ripped
motorcycle seat with this stuff. Just butt-glued the rip together,
even though the vinyl was under some tension. The only fault I can
find with it is that it's not UV resistant. Sunshine will make it
crystallize and fall apart.
- There's a glue that Moss sells for upholstery and carpets.
Comes in a quart can. Nice & strong, stinks to high heaven. I
think it's thinned in carbon tet. For outside use only!
- There's another one that I've seen at the hardware store. I
think its called "Weldwood". I glued the headliner on my Tr2
hardtop with this one. Plenty strong.
